JO Popup Login is a lightweight Joomla login module that replaces the traditional login page with a modern, customizable popup â allowing visitors to log in without leaving the current page.
It displays an icon and label that can be placed in any module position, such as the menu bar, header, or sidebar. Clicking the trigger opens the standard Joomla login form in a popup, while AJAX handles the login process in the background. Failed login attempts are displayed directly inside the popup without a page reload or redirect.
Once logged in, the module can display the user's name with an optional translatable greeting and a dropdown menu. You can use the default Edit Profile / Logout links or select any existing Joomla menu for the logged-in user menu.
Every visual detail can be configured from the module settings â including colors, borders, corner radius, animations, and fullscreen backdrop mode â without template overrides or custom CSS. The login form is equally flexible, with configurable field labels, Remember Me, Forgot Password, and Registration options.
